How It Works

Financial Planning is designed to help you achieve your financial goals. It involves working one-on-one to develop and implement a financial plan based on your unique circumstances.

We can help you:

  • Define your financial and life goals and then implement a plan for reaching them.
  • Stay focused on current spending goals so you can reach your long-term saving goals.
  • Optimize the myriad types of employer equity compensation such as ISOs, NQSOs, RSUs, and ESPPs.
  • Develop a long-term investment strategy that is appropriate for your timeframe and risk tolerance.
  • Prepare for the risks you don’t anticipate.

Meetings

Meetings take place at 201 Mission Street in downtown San Francisco.

For your convenience, other meeting locations are available in San Francisco and the Peninsula upon request. To accommodate busy schedules, virtual meetings are also available (phone or video conference).

Comprehensive Financial Planning with hands-on Investment Management is the core of what we do. This option includes the full breadth of our services: comprehensive financial planning along with hands-on management of your investments.

Comprehensive Financial Planning involves working one-on-one to develop and implement a financial plan, based on your unique circumstances and designed to help you achieve your financial goals.

  • To start, we establish your values and goals around money, gathering all the information needed to analyze your circumstances and create a plan for you.
  • Once your plan is developed, we review our findings and recommended actions.
  • Next, we move forward with implementing these actions and monitoring your plan on an ongoing basis.

Investment management is based on your individual needs and guided by your stated objectives. We’ll discuss and establish your goals in order to:

  • Develop an investment policy statement (which describes your general investment goals and objectives, and the strategies that we will employ to meet those objectives).
  • Propose an investment plan with asset allocation targets.
  • Create and manage your portfolio based on the investment policy and allocation targets.
